That night by Chevy Stevens

Eighteen-year-old Toni and her boyfriend, Ryan, were wrongly convicted of the murder of her younger sister.
Seventeen years later, she's out on parole and back in her hometown, but she's struggling to adjust to a new life on the outside. Ryan is convinced he can uncover the truth; her mother still doesn't believe Toni's innocent; and the former high school girls who made Toni's life miserable may have darker secrets than anyone can imagine. Before Toni can move forward, she must take a terrifying step back to her past to find out the truth and clear her name, before it's too late.
I'm loving this I can't wait to find out what happens and if they find out what really happened.
Toni and Shauna was best friends in school and always hung out with each other until Toni met Ryan and spent time with him Shauna got jealous got jealous and started making Toni's school life hell.
The only comfort Toni got from home was her dad. Her mother always thought bad of Toni but not of Nicole Toni's sister so when Nicole started hanging out with Shauna things got harder for Toni at home and school and at Toni's work place that she was glad she had Ryan for comfort.
But then everything falls apart for them as one fatal night Nicola is murdered while she was with Ryan and Toni and they are charged with her murder.
After spending half of her life in prison for something she didn't do. Toni just wants to get on with her life until she gets framed for some money going missing and then someone is murdered so she and Ryan are sent  back to prison but are determined once they are cleared of that murder to find out what really happened to Nicole.
She took a huge risk and nearly paid the price for it but I was shocked to find why Nicole was murdered and how it was covered up and by who helped to cover it up I was shocked of the lengths they would go to just so they wouldn't get punished for something as serious as murder.
Well I loved Toni and how she was determined to prove that she wasn't involved in Nicole's murder. But still her mother blames Toni for Nicole being at the lake and being left on her own. But least now Toni is getting her live back in order and has a job and maybe her and Ryan can get back to where they left it.
